Refund Policy

Our Guarantee

10% more placements in 6 months, or every rupee back.

No negotiations. No partial refunds. If we don't deliver, you get it all back.

1. The Placement Improvement Guarantee

Verfolia guarantees that your institution will achieve at least a 10% improvement in placement rate within 6 months of actively using the platform. If this outcome is not achieved and you meet the eligibility conditions below, we will refund 100% of all subscription fees you have paid.

How improvement is measured: Placement rate is the percentage of eligible final-year students who received at least one job offer during the academic year. We compare your rate during the Verfolia subscription period against the most recent complete academic year before you subscribed. Both figures must be documented and submitted with your claim.

2. Eligibility for the Guarantee

To be eligible for a refund under the guarantee, your institution must:

  • Have maintained an active, paid subscription for at least 6 continuous months
  • Have uploaded your complete student database (all final-year eligible students) within 30 days of subscribing
  • Have conducted at least 5 employer outreaches per month through the Verfolia platform
  • Have used the AI matching feature to shortlist and send profiles to recruiters
  • Be able to provide verifiable placement data for the baseline year and the current year (e.g., offer letters, placement register, or NAAC records)

Claims from institutions that have not met these usage requirements will not qualify. This is not a condition designed to deny claims — it exists because the guarantee is based on active use of the platform, not passive subscription.

3. How to Claim a Refund

If 6 months have passed and your placement rate has not improved by 10% or more:

  1. Email melroy@verfolia.com with the subject line: REFUND CLAIM — [Your College Name]
  2. Include your placement data for the baseline year and the year using Verfolia (screenshots, PDFs, or any official records are acceptable)
  3. Our team will acknowledge your claim within 2 business days
  4. We will review your account usage and placement data within 7 business days
  5. If eligible, the refund is processed within 14 business days to the original payment method

If there is a dispute about eligibility, both parties will first attempt resolution through direct discussion. If unresolved, the matter is subject to the governing law and jurisdiction stated in our Terms of Service.

4. Subscription Cancellation

You can cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings or by emailing us. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period — you retain full platform access until then.

Subscription fees for the current billing period are non-refundable unless you are claiming under the placement improvement guarantee. We do not offer pro-rata refunds for unused days within a billing period.

5. What Is Not Covered

  • Refund claims made before 6 months of active use
  • Accounts that did not meet the minimum usage requirements in Section 2
  • Institutions where the baseline placement data cannot be independently verified
  • Improvements that occurred before subscribing to Verfolia
  • Cancellations due to change of mind unrelated to placement outcomes

6. One Claim per Subscription Period

The guarantee applies once per academic year per institution. An institution that receives a refund and subsequently re-subscribes starts a new 6-month guarantee window from their new subscription start date.
